My PS4 Yakuza 7 for example was a steelbook with a ton of codes for in-game bonuses. Play games at (basically) launch, decide if you like them, send it back, or keep them at comically discounted rates (a new Nintendo game will already be like $40 at their keep/used price after a week or two, and "used" for them is pristine- original cases, codes, often pre-order or special day one editions to boot. Someday I'll make a PSA: Gamefly still exists thread. But I've started being really stingy about even sale games as it seems like 90% come through one of the subscriptions eventually. (And yeah, it was worth it.) But everything else I wait or get it through GameFly which usually means I'm playing titles I'm really interested in like a day or 2 after launch and titles I'm iffy about only later through PS+, again GameFly, or on deep sale. I have bought one and only once $70 game and that is TotK.
